Introducing a new favourite sport that i've picked up recently.... HANDBALL!!! =)

I started playing handball last year when i came into Kent Ridge Hall and it was a game that my hall mates loved to play. As months passed by, my friend asked me to attend this outside training formed mostly by NUS people called the Handball Federation where you get to participate for NUS and Singapore. Not really national because it is not a recognized sport in Singapore. So we're sort of the pioneer batch who tries to make Handball big in Singapore.

Oh well, learning Handball has been and still is something which I learn many truths about myself. Handball is a fast and violent (in the positive sense) game because the defenders can "clamp" your hands down when you wanna shoot. And there're many formations you can form to attack. A lot of times in trainings i get irritated over myself when i cant get what is right. When my ball keeps slipping off my hand when i try to shoot, i would scream at myself "ARGH! NOT AGAIN!!"

A lot of arm power is needed for this sport and i always think that would make my arms big. Arh, that's not the point. haha. But it is a sport which i learn much about my level of patience and perseverance.

Along this course of journey, i also wanna thank God for this backslided Christian whom i grew closer with over past few weeks. She suddenly shared with me about her life and God convicted my heart to reach out to her. Indeed, God is everywhere even in my handball trainings.
