Wow, it's been three weeks into the New Year already!
As a grad, I really wonder what God has in store for me as I step into a new season in university. In the same way, I think most of us have a certain amount of uncertainty in our hearts. As we move into a new season in our lives, each and every one of us, we tend to want to know exactly what lies ahead. For sure, it's happening right now.
IGNYTE ministry is moving into this season of unprecedented growth; the Sec Ones and JC1s have just started school and are adjusting to the new environment; my fellow grads are all wondering where they are going next.
But you know what? That's fine; indeed, more than fine, because it induces us to have a greater, unswerving trust in God. Sometimes, we want so many details that faith is often taken out of the picture. Remember what P Gary preached last Saturday, about being a mighty warrior for Christ? A mighty warrior is one who listens and acts upon the voice of God and steps out in faith! Revelation about God's plans for us is often gradual – if God told us everything in one shot we wouldn't need to rely upon Him at all! So let's continue to walk in partnership with God and with the people around us as we find our destiny in Him.

Romans 8:37 – Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

All of us are familiar with this verse. Yet, as I was reflecting upon this verse in my quiet time, God began to speak to me about us not being conquerors, but MORE than conquerors! There are so many great conquerors in history:

Mark Antony

Alexander the Great

Genghis Khan

Why did they remain conquerors and not join us in the realm of being more than conquerors? You see, many of their victories were merely temporal ones. Mark Antony strove for the extension of the Roman Empire, winning many battles over his enemies. Today, the Roman Empire remains a mere shadow of its former glory. Our victories, on the other hand, are eternal, purposeful and God-given. We know what we're fighting for, and we know that we're going to save souls for Christ, so let's continue being mighty warriors and declare that victory is the Lord's!

Have a great week ahead!

Cheers,
Kelly T
