It was late as i, cinderella got home just before 12. I had a late night at work, and coming home was really such a blessing and such a relief.
I opened the door quietly and slipped off my shoes quickly and made my way to the kitchen. I didn't switch on the living room lights because sometimes the lights wake up my mom who sleeps with her room door slightly a jar for ventilation.
Tired from the day, and wanting to get into bed, i looked around for my towel(of course being such a clean freak, i just HAD to bathe before sleeping. Tsk tsk.) But i just couldn't find it anywhere. "Rats" i thought. it must be in my room, by then the kitchen light was on, and suddenly i caught sight of something on top of the wall.
now what ever was that thing. It looked so surreal curved up like that. HRmm... now wait at minute... it looks cold and very much like a.. a... LIZARD!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have i ever told you all how much i absolutely HATE lizards?! they give me the creeps. THose cold sinister eyes that seem to taunt me every time i see them on the wall. They seem to tell me "heh heh heh, i know you're scared of me. i'm 'here to scare the living day lights out of you." And there's just this cold clammy look to them *shudder* and now there was one standing in the way between me and my room. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mustering up all the courage i could, i ran, no wait, i sprinted, no WAIT, i FLEW under that beam and FLEW out again. YUCK YUCK YUCK! The thought of the lizard above me was horrrrriiiibbbllllllleee.. but i did it and by the time i bathed and came back out, it was gone. Phew. But still the lizard came back to haunt me.
In my dreams i dreamt it grew BIG AND FAT but thank God my dad was around, so he caught it for me! (: So there's a happy ending! but i have no idea where that real lizard went to. I'm hoping it just ran back into my brother's room. *shudder* but yes, i can't believe i actually took a picture of it.
Yuck. Boys, eat your heart out. Girls, skip the pictures. The next blog post i'm doing will have better pictures. PRomise. (:
