Hi Mighty Ignyters, I want to share with the second part of the sharing. Last week I was sharing that Noah learns to put his trust his God in building the ark. His trust came from the times of moment in intimacy with God.
The second thing we can learn from is his obedience to God.
When Noah was called to build the ark, it was almost a senseless task. First of all, that place was not known to have rain at all, secondly, there was no such model to build the seize of a medium ocean cruiser which was unheard of.
He has three qualities in his obedience. The first quality is Undivided attention to God’s plan
the ark was a big mega project at the time of their day. God gave Noah the specific instructions to build it. that was the first ocean liner being built and till today, it is the model for building ships. It did not take Noah to build the ark within three days but it took him at least one year to build. So you can imagine, for 365 days or more, the people were laughing at his silliness. People were laughing at his blind obedience to God.
And sometimes it seems that when God calls us to do something, it may seem senseless and will require obedience to work through it. but if Noah been distracted with the people around him, he would not be able to accomplish what God had called him to do. Many times we can get distracted with things in life. We get distracted in making our studies first, our friends first etc.
The second quality is Testing through time - Our obedience is often tested not when we are in church but when we are with our friends outside and that moment to make a stand or compromise is often separated by a moment of second. Many times it will be tested and that is where our friends will know whether Jesus is real and active in our lives. The Testing in our life will cause us to search deep in whom we are and our faith in God. It is those times that our convictions will go through the fire.
Our character will reflect of who Jesus is in our lives.
Through this, Noah’s obedience showcase the faithfulness of God and that is where the secret of the Rainbow.
When we made a choice to be righteous before God, we can experience his faithfulness. God made a covenant with him and that is never again, a flood like this will happen again and the Rainbow will be a sign of his promise to mankind. When we see that rainbow, remember his promises in our lives. When the bible talks about and all these things, it would mean when we pursue his righteousness, our life will experience transformation in our relationship with Him. It brings us to deeper level of understanding God’s heart for our lives.
Noah’s righteousness touches the heart of God and the Promise of his rainbow means that God will be faithful in our walk with him, he will give us strength, wisdom, blessings because we pursue God’s righteous in our lives. So let’s us make every effort to love Jesus, walk in his love and show to the world what it means to be a fool for Jesus!

The other day I started to ponder why I'm called an Ignyter..
.. and why IGNYTE was set up in the first place...
I believe they wanted a generation to rise up and reach out to the youth of today.
A ministry that stayed relevant with the passion for God and for His people.
... To own the call of "His purpose. My generation''
Queen Esther was placed by God in a strategic position. She took advantage of her access privilege to the King to fight for the lives of the Jews. Her passion for God gave her the strength and the reason to stand up for her people and fulfill God's purpose in her generation.
Likewise, will you be able to take advantage of the position you have as a youth for God to reach out to the people around you?
Think about it.

Hebrews 11:7 ‘By Faith, Noah when warned about things not yet seen in holy fear built an ark to save his family, By his faith, he condemned the world and became heirs of the righteousness that comes by faith.’
I want to share with you some things that Noah went through in his journey of faith.
The definition of Righteous means ‘standing on what is morally right’ or desire to live according to God’s ways.
In Genesis 6:9-22, God was grieved by the wickeness of man. It was so bad that He had no choice but do something drastic like flooding the earth. Today we are seeing similar cultures emerging where things are getting more and more out of hand in our generation today. And all these things are not oblivious to us. They are right at our doorstep, crepting to our lives, numbing our feelings towards immorality and evil of our day.
We begin to see everything that is happening around us as part of progress and not decline of God’s order for us. But in the midst of all these, one man stood up to and was commended by God.
The first thing we can learn for Noah was He found Favor with God
God saw something in him that no one had. He was able to stand up on God’s righteousness. He stood up not because he has been going to church faithfully or he has been faithfully giving to church. I believe the reason why he found favor with God was because of his lifestyle of intimate faith with God.
In the same manner, we wake up every day only to experience the reality of the world around us. We take it as a norm in and begin to desensitize our identity in God to the identity of the world. We can go to many ignyte camps, we can have lots of worship experience but unless we begin to walk lifestyle of intimacy with God, we will not walk in God’s righteousness.
Noah found favor because he has learnt to spend precious time and moments with God. When he prays, he would listen intently what he would want to say. He would probably going through this daily in his walk with God.
Because of his intimacy with God, he was able to withstand the pressures of what people are doing because his love for God’s righteousness guard his heart and his mind.
Do you guard your hear and mind? Do you send precious time with God daily? If not, why not make a point and hear from God?
I will share with you my second part on the secret of his rainbow so just hang on and see you soon!
Love, P.Gary
