There is a song we sing in very often in Singapore. That’s right, it is our famous national anthem, ‘Majulah Singapura’ which means onward, Singapore.

As we approach the birthday of this maturing nation, some thoughts we can think through for example, are you proud that you are a Singaporean, do you believe that God
has placed you in this nation for a purpose?

If your answer is I am not sure, chances are you are not alone. In Singapore, we have everything! We're self sufficient, we've got clean water that is easily available for us and a great environment that is safe for us to go out at night! Not sounding nationalist here but isn’t it a blessing to be called a Singaporean?

So as you celebrate national day this weekend, say a prayer for your nation and ask God for a revival for this young generation in Singapore!
