Hey IGNYTE!



4 One is coming up and I just want to share what 4 One means to me (:

Last Saturday night, at adult service, Pastor Jeffery’s message on Finances reminded me how bless I am to live in Singapore, to have a school to go to, not worrying about the need for food and a place to stay in.



[Yes even though my parents are still providing for me, THANK GOD FOR THEM!, the sermon still spoke to me.]

As I reflected on the sermon, I realized what 4 One means to me is to truly serve and meet the needs 4 One Generation! My Generation! God brought me to this passage in the bible in Matthew 25:40 it says, "The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it for me." I am sure there will be times when our friends, be it Christian friends or not, turn to us for help or advice with the problems they are facing in school or at home.


I strongly believe that as IGNYTErs and God's children we must not be a selfish generation, but just like in Matt 25:40, be selfless and to care and meet the needs of our Generation. We are all Christ’s ambassadors, and whatever we do, we do it as if for Christ. For Christ first loved us, and this love is not only for us to keep but to share it with our non-Christian friends and love ones (: They will too experience who God is and His love through our actions.

So I hope this short post would encourage you to be a blessing to others for we are indeed truly blessed by our God and to share God's love with this generation! Remember to invite them 4 One! (:
